Parental control

PIN protected parental controls allow you to restrict your children’s viewing, either all day or after 8pm in the evening. To access the restricted channels after the set time you will need to enter a PIN.

TV guide

This can be accessed while you watch TV. You can check what is on other channels, decide what you’re going to watch for the rest of the day and set reminders all while watching another TV programme.

Reminders

With these reminders you don’t need to miss your favourite TV programmes ever again. You can select shows using the TV guide. These will be added to your personal planner which you can access and amend at your leisure. You will see a message on your screen just before your TV programme starts.

Sky Interactive

Sky interactive allows you to play games, shop, bet and access customer services. With interactive news you can choose news stories you want to watch in your own time, and access the latest weather in your area. Interactive sports allows you to choose the game, camera angle and commentary you want to watch while enjoying live action.

You can build your own Sky TV package so that you need only have the channels you are going to watch. The channels are grouped into 6 entertainment mixes, and you can choose 2, 4 or 6 mixes.

Variety mix

The variety mix offers just that; variety. Over 30 channels are available with this package including Sky One, Two and Three, Paramount Comedy, LivingTV plus E4 and More4. You have everything covered here; drama to comedy and entertainment to sci-fi. With this mix you probably wont need any of the others!

Knowledge mix

With the knowledge mix you have 15 channels offering a wide variety of biographies and documentaries. With the history and discovery channels, animal planet and crime & investigation channels you’ll be able to explore forensic science, great civilisations, natural phenomena and wildlife. More than enough viewing to keep you occupied and educated.

Style and Culture mix

Arts, fashions, lifestyles and destinations are what this package is all about. UKTV Food, Style and Gardens will provide all the inspiration you will ever need for fashion, interior decoration, landscaping and cooking. You will have a vast source of travel advice and ideas in exotic locations with the Discovery Travel & Living and Sky Travel channels. In addition Discovery Home & Health provides a gripping mix of relationship, pregnancy and birth programming.

Music mix

More than 90 channels provide an enormous source of documentaries and music videos. Kiss for urban music, MTV Base for hip-hop and R&B, Kerrang for rock, Smash Hits for pop… Then there are VH1 and Magic to provide everything in between.

News and events mix

Sky News, Sky Sports News, Fox News, Star News and CNBC Europe will allow you to stay completely up to date with the news and sport. Combine these with British Eurosport, Extreme Sports, Motors TV and ESPN Classic and you’ll have more action, interviews and highlights than you can imagine.

Kids mix

The kids mix is a group of over 15 channels aimed specifically at children, including Nickelodeon, Nick Toons and Trouble.

Movies mix

With the sky movies package you can choose from around 850 movies every month. There are 8 genre-specific channels including Family, Drama and Action & Thriller. You also get several free movie channels when you purchase the movie mix including Disney Cinemagic and Sky Movies Premiere.

Sports mix

The sports mix gives you access to live coverage of more than 100 different sports. 36,000 hours of sport every year over 4 dedicated channels. You will never need to leave the house again!
